As a Logistics Specialist EFZ, a 3-year apprenticeship awaits you. With us, you can work in various warehouse areas and learn about the tasks of warehouse logistics in all its facets.
- At the beginning, you will be introduced by experienced logistics professionals and perform various, more manual tasks
- These tasks mainly involve picking and preparing smaller goods, promotional items, and the like
- Once you have completed the course for operating electric pallet trucks, you will be allowed to carry out the first internal mechanical goods movements
- In addition to classes at the vocational school in Rorschach, you will learn the correct handling of goods receipt and goods issuance in practice
- Once you have successfully completed the inter-company forklift course, you can independently load and unload palletized goods
- Later, you will learn how to properly load, unload, or relocate long goods of all kinds using a hall crane
- Besides efficient loading and unloading of trucks, you will learn the most important points of proper load securing
