The Pulmonology department, located in ROLLE, cares for adult patients suffering from acute or chronic respiratory diseases in a hospital or outpatient setting. You will work within a renovated facility in an exceptional setting overlooking Lake Geneva and the Alps. You will have access to state-of-the-art equipment.
Today, the pulmonology department has become a flagship institution in respiratory rehabilitation.
Job description:
In your new role, your duties will impact the quality of patient care. Your role will notably include:
- Managing and supporting patients in the Pulmonology Unit
- Providing quality care services based on reflective practice
- Performing delegated medical care and autonomous nursing care with rigour
- Offering personalised nursing care taking into account the objectives and needs of the patient and their family, for example for returning home,
- Communicating observations orally and in writing in a targeted and relevant manner in the patients’ electronic records
- Managing pharmacy and equipment orders considering the service’s needs
- Actively participating in medical rounds, noting and applying prescribed treatments
Required profile:

- Strong interest in supporting and assisting patients with pulmonary conditions
- Ability to work interdisciplinarily (medical team, physiotherapist, dietitian, liaison nurse, Vaud Pulmonary League)
- Strong sense of responsibility and decision-making ability
- Ability to perform relevant clinical assessments
Education level:
Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Nursing required (or equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross)
