About the job
The ARENENBERG is the competence center for agriculture in Thurgau. For this purpose, Arenenberg operates an agricultural school, a consulting service, and the school and experimental farms at Arenenberg, in Güttingen and Tänikon. To complement our Fruit Vegetable Berry team, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- You advise farms on production technical issues with a focus on stone fruit and organic fruit growing
- You develop practical solutions to advance the fruit industry
- You teach in agricultural basic education and conduct further training
- You create specialist publications for knowledge transfer
- You represent Thurgau in cantonal and national organizations
Your profile
- You have a university degree in agricultural sciences, horticulture, biology, or a technical college education HF with a fruit growing background
- Ideally, you have experience in consulting or fruit growing
- You appreciate the practical implementation of conceptual ideas
- You like to work independently, value teamwork, and can network well
- You bring a high level of customer orientation and can inspire your customers/learners in your field
