You accompany young offenders through a crucial, often difficult phase. As a social worker at the Youth Public Prosecutor's Office, you take on professional responsibility - between individual support, measures and law.

Your tasks

You clarify the personal and family circumstances of young offenders and write well-founded assessment reports with recommendations regarding protective measures and penalties.
You organise residential and outpatient protective measures, independently carry out outpatient protective measures and ensure coordination with the penal system.
You accompany young people and their families empathetically and competently throughout the entire duration of the protective measures.
You are also the contact person for young people during pre-trial detention or imprisonment and support them through this process.
You collaborate with authorities and institutions, maintain a sustainable network and ensure close interdisciplinary cooperation with the responsible youth prosecutor.

Your profile

You have a university of applied sciences degree in social work as well as several years of professional and life experience; you have already completed or are willing to undertake specialised further training.
You are interested in young people and their world of life and approach them with a caring, optimistic attitude as well as high social and professional competence.
You remain calm in demanding situations, act prudently and make well-founded decisions.
Your working style is efficient, precise and structured. You work independently and value interdisciplinary collaboration.
You are proficient with MS Office and are happy to familiarise yourself with specialised applications such as Tribuna.
