Located just outside the city of Zurich, the Limmattal Obesity Center is very accessible and is one of the largest obesity centers in Switzerland. It is a reference center for bariatric surgery designated by the SMOB. We have the mandate to perform complex bariatric surgeries and currently carry out nearly 400 bariatric operations per year.
Over 800 patients are treated conservatively and surgically at the Limmattal Obesity Center each year.
The team at the Obesity Center consists of 3 internists, 2 surgeons, 3 MPA/Study Nurses, 4 medical secretaries, 2 senior physicians from surgery, as well as several nutritionists and a psychologist, along with consulting nutrition psychologists, endocrinologists, and gastroenterologists.
- Conservative care and treatment of overweight and obese patients along with their comorbidities
- Clarifications and follow-ups for surgically treated obese patients
- Long-term care of a large, multicultural, interdisciplinary patient population
- You will work regular hours, without night shifts and weekend duties, and you will not work on holidays

- hold a federal or Swiss-recognized specialist diploma in General Internal Medicine or Endocrinology or are close to completion
