Do you have a passion for plants and trees and want to make it your profession? Imagine your workplace is a place in the green and in nature - instead of screen time, we have soil between our fingers and fresh air. During the training as a Gardener EFZ specializing in Plant Production at the Finsterloo Forest Plant Garden, you will learn how to care for plants and how to grow them with a gentle touch.
You will learn all production steps from seed harvesting to the avenue tree. You prepare the soil outdoors or in the greenhouse optimally and sow, plant, fertilize, and care for - with a lot of knowledge, care, and love for nature. You advise customers on the choice of suitable plants. You propagate new plants from cuttings or seeds and place them in soil, containers, or bags. To ensure everything grows well, you tie up plants, transplant them, and protect them from pests and diseases.
For these tasks, you need a good feel for nature, manual skills, and a high sense of responsibility. If you are physically resilient, enjoy working outdoors, and have a good command of German in both spoken and written form, you are exactly right with us.
