The university neurocentre in the Zurich region is one of the leading institutions in Switzerland and offers a wide range in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. In addition to common clinical issues, complex and rare neuroradiological cases are also managed, allowing you to learn a great deal professionally and specifically expand your diagnostic confidence.
You will work closely with experienced neuroradiologists as well as with the departments of neurology, neurosurgery, stroke unit, and intensive care medicine. You will benefit from structured professional exchange, modern CT and MRI devices, and an environment where further education and development are actively supported.
The position is particularly suitable for specialist physicians in radiology who have already had initial contact with neuroradiological imaging and now want to take the next step in a specialised environment.
Your tasks:
- Independent reporting of radiological and neuroradiological examinations according to your level of experience
- Gradual familiarisation with complex neuroradiological issues
- Conducting and reporting CT and MRI examinations of the central nervous system
- Participation in interdisciplinary case discussions, boards, and clinical reports
- Close collaboration with neurology, neurosurgery, stroke unit, and intensive care medicine
- Professional exchange with experienced neuroradiologists
- Opportunity for increasing specialisation in diagnostic neuroradiology
- Depending on interest, involvement in clinical or scientific projects
Your competencies:
- Specialist title in radiology, recognised in Germany or the EU
- Initial experience in neuroradiological imaging
- Enjoyment of complex cross-sectional imaging and differentiated clinical issues
- Motivation to grow professionally and learn new things in a university environment
- Careful, structured, and responsible working style
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and professional exchange
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Team-oriented, committed, and eager to learn personality
