About the job
We are looking for an Automation & Robotics Engineer passionate about industrial technologies, automation, and innovation.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Creating programmes for PLCs, robots, and human-machine interfaces.
- Testing, fine-tuning, and optimising operating sequences and special modes.
- Developing interfaces necessary for communication between production equipment and information systems.
- Participating in equipment integration and supporting external suppliers to ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Optimising equipment performance and correcting malfunctions observed in production.
- Utilising traceability data and contributing to the development of supervision tools.
- Participating in the evolution of our hardware and software architectures to support future industrial challenges.
You contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of automated production equipment.
As a true technical reference, you develop PLC and robot programmes for our industrial resources, support their commissioning, and participate in the evolution of our technological standards. You also maintain active monitoring of market innovations to identify future opportunities related to Industry 4.0, robotics, and new automation technologies.
- Proficiency in industrial PLCs, control-command architectures, and advanced programming.
- Strong knowledge of industrial robotics: selection, programming, and robot interaction.
- Good skills in electrotechnics, wiring, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
- Mastery of machine safety requirements and risk analyses.
- Ability to manage industrial projects while respecting quality, cost, and deadline objectives.
Digital skills and Industry 4.0:
- Analysis and exploitation of industrial data from production equipment.
- Development of dashboards and control cockpits using tools such as Power BI.
- Understanding of industrial communication architectures and data flows.
- Interest in Industry 4.0 technologies, AI applied to industry, and advanced supervision solutions.
- Ability to transform machine data into relevant indicators for industrial performance.
- Analytical mindset, technical curiosity, and continuous improvement orientation.
- Engineering degree from HES, EPF, or equivalent in automation, robotics, mechatronics, electrical or industrial engineering.
- Experience in the development and commissioning of automated and robotic equipment.
- Experience in an industrial production environment.
- Experience in industrial digitalisation, machine data collection, or creation of control tools is an asset.
