Secondary School Teachers mbA for German 180 - 240%The Kantonsschule Zürcher Oberland (KZO) in Wetzikon is a vibrant school that values an open culture, joint commitment, and an inspiring learning environment. It currently runs a lower secondary level (9th/10th school year) with 60 classes and all Zurich Matura profiles. With around 1300 students, 200 teachers, and 40 staff in administration and operations, KZO is one of the large grammar schools in the canton.
Starting from the autumn semester 2027/28, we are looking for Secondary School Teachers mbA for German (a total of approx. 180-240%). According to the Zurich Secondary and Vocational School Teachers Ordinance, these are permanent positions "with special tasks" (mbA).
What we expect:
- You hold a university master’s degree in the relevant subject and the teaching diploma for Matura schools or an equivalent diploma for teaching at grammar Matura schools according to MAR.
- You have teaching experience at the grammar school level and bring solid practical teaching skills.
- You are motivated to engage at our school as a Secondary School Teacher with special tasks. This includes, among other things: taking on the role of class teacher, supervising Matura theses, participating in committees, and conceptual development of the German subject within the framework of WegZH.
