Your tasks
- Develop the corporate and production strategy together with the head of the energy sector and implement it in the area
- Prepare and present strategic decision-making bases for management (GL) and the board of directors (VR)
- Strategically review and prepare GL and VR applications from subordinate organizational units of the energy sector for approval
- Professionally assess GL and VR applications from other business areas and advise committees and organizations on energy economic issues
- Participate and actively shape internal and external projects, committees, and working groups, as well as be responsible for the preparation and presentation of well-founded reports, statements, and other decision-making documents in the energy sector
- Respond to political initiatives and media inquiries in the context of energy economics
- Lead due diligence processes in the area of investment management and develop foundations for company formations, capital increases, disposals, or liquidations in collaboration with finance and legal services
This is what sets you apart
- Master's degree in energy economics, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable field
- Many years of solid experience in a multi-utility company, preferably in the energy sector and at senior management level
- Proven experience in strategic and operational leadership, project management, and interdisciplinary collaboration in a complex, politically sensitive environment
- Strong communication skills and experience at management and board level
- Analytical and conceptual strength to assess complex, contradictory issues and to develop well-founded decision-making bases
- Fluent German in spoken and written form, additional language skills in French and/or English are desirable
