Lectureship in Electronic Music (40-60%)

Your tasks:
- You teach modules that reflect a deep understanding of the latest technical developments in the fields of electronic music and computer music, interaction design, and music programming
- You support the development of students at the BA and MA levels and help them apply the skills and tools they have learned in their individual projects
- You will be part of the Electronic Studio Basel and actively participate in the studio's various programs and modules as needed – for example, in internal or public performances, installations, concerts, conferences, and symposia
- Your teaching reflects the current artistic directions of the Electronic Studio Basel, and your approach and teaching methods will also shape this direction
- You contribute to improving the studio infrastructure by co-managing the studio so that it optimally supports your teaching and contributes to further development in line with the latest global trends
Your profile:
- You are a creative technologist with a focus on music and electronic sound
- You have extensive experience in electronic music, experimental and contemporary music in formats such as performances, installations, or experimental formats
- You have a strong artistic affinity and knowledge of the historical developments in electronic music
- You are familiar with the latest innovations in this field
- You are research-oriented and able to write scientific articles in your teaching field that can be presented at international conferences and symposia
- You have extensive teaching experience at the BA and MA levels
