Cellcosmet is an innovative and pioneering global luxury cosmetics brand dedicated to developing high-quality beauty products that combine scientific innovation and excellence. For our headquarters based in Châtel-Saint-Denis, we are looking for a:
Manufacturing Technology Engineer
Your Mission
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you directly contribute to the evolution and performance of our industrial tool by transforming Operations needs into robust, efficient, and sustainable technical solutions.
At the interface between industrialisation, production technologies, and continuous improvement, you optimise existing packaging equipment, lead the introduction of new machines, and develop automation opportunities within the Filling & Assembly, Bulk Production, and intralogistics flow activities.
This role is operational and cross-functional. In close contact with production teams, you develop a detailed understanding of processes and field constraints, provide your expertise during machine trials and adjustments, and offer support when a process issue requires in-depth technical analysis. You regularly collaborate with the Filling & Assembly, Product Development, Maintenance, Bulk Production, QSE teams as well as with our suppliers and integrators.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure the internal industrial feasibility of new products and packaging on packaging equipment: machine trials, acceptance criteria, adjustments, recommendations, and transition to routine;
- Develop and capitalise on know-how related to packaging equipment: standard parameters and settings, operating procedures, machine knowledge base, and team training;
- Provide on-site technical support to Filling & Assembly teams in case of blockages related to settings or process parameters, analyse recurring issues, and update standards when necessary;
- Identify needs and opportunities for new equipment, tooling, technologies, mechanisation, and automation with operational teams;
- Manage new equipment projects end-to-end: requirement definition, specifications, research and evaluation of solutions and suppliers, technical choice, acquisition, project follow-up, FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, and ramp-up;
- Evaluate and develop automation and technological improvement opportunities across all Operations;
- Lead projects to improve industrial performance: productivity, capacity, ergonomics, flow, waste reduction;
- Participate in building the site’s technological and automation roadmap and maintain active monitoring of relevant technologies and industrial solutions.
Your Qualifications
- You hold an engineering degree or a Master’s in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, automation, or an equivalent qualification;
- You have initial experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, medical devices, premium food, or another demanding or regulated industry;
- You are fluent in French and have a good level of English (B2 level);
- You have a good understanding of industrial equipment and ideally of filling, assembly, screwing/crimping, labelling, cartoning, or boxing processes;
- You master the fundamentals of industrialisation and technical project management: requirement definition, specifications, solution evaluation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement;
- You are primarily a hands-on profile: curious, pragmatic, and analytical, you enjoy understanding how equipment works, investigating the cause of a problem, and building a concrete solution with users;
- Autonomous and organised, you are capable of managing several projects simultaneously and coordinating internal teams, suppliers, and integrators effectively;
- You know how to formalise and transmit technical know-how simply, structured, and directly usable by teams.
Start date: to be agreed
