Senior Physician Interdisciplinary Emergency Center

with a workload of 50-100% by arrangement.

Your tasks:

• You responsibly treat our patients across the entire spectrum of emergency medicine
• You passionately act as a supervisor for our assistant physicians and support their professional development
• You take on senior physician duties and shifts within the multi-shift operation of the Interdisciplinary Emergency Center and the Clinic for Internal Medicine, working in a collegial, interdisciplinary environment at eye level
• You contribute your ideas and commitment to the further development of the Interdisciplinary Emergency Center as well as the Clinic for Internal Medicine and actively participate in shaping the future of our healthcare world

What you bring:

• Specialist title in Internal Medicine
• Interdisciplinary focus "Clinical Emergency Medicine (SGNOR)" or near completion
• Certification in POCUS and/or abdominal sonography
• Interest and passion for innovative teaching formats
• Enjoyment in interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration with other specialties and motivation to engage in the further development of our clinic
• Respectful interaction with patients and staff of all professions in the clinic

We are the Interdisciplinary Emergency Center at Zollikerberg Hospital, treating and caring for over 15,000 patients annually. The emergency center has 10 treatment bays including a shock room and plaster room, as well as a fast track with two treatment places.

Our emergency center is assigned to the Clinic for Internal Medicine, a central and significant service center of Zollikerberg Hospital. The clinic cares for over 3,300 inpatient patients annually as well as more than 450 patients in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit.

The Interdisciplinary Emergency Center is the interface for all specialties represented at Zollikerberg Hospital, including the Clinic for Internal Medicine with gastroenterology, cardiology, pneumology, endocrinology/diabetology, oncology, infectiology, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, acute geriatrics, and palliative medicine, as well as general surgery, orthopedics with specialized spinal surgery, radiology, gynecology and obstetrics with neonatology.
