Head of Gastronomy (m/f/d) & Member of the Executive Board
We are a popular congress and event venue in the Bernese Oberland and are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Head of Gastronomy (m/f/d) and Member of the Executive Board.
In this exciting role as Head of Gastronomy and Member of the Executive Board, you will take on a key role in the further development of our company. With entrepreneurial thinking and gastronomic expertise, you will lead our gastronomy department to sustainable success.

Your Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the gastronomic areas (F&B, kitchen, banquets, event setup and housekeeping)
- Planning, organising and executing gastronomic services at congresses, events, banquets and special occasions
- Leading, training and further developing employees as well as controlling the deployment planning
- Budget responsibility including cost control, calculation, sales and results responsibility
- Development and implementation of offer and pricing concepts
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety and quality standards
- Purchasing and quality management: selection of suppliers and partners, purchasing, control of inventory and ensuring high quality standards
- Exchange and collaboration with the three other executive board members as well as with the two group companies (KIH AG & CI AG)
- Close cooperation with local service providers (partners, suppliers, hotels, etc.)
Your Profile
- Completed studies (FH/HF) or comparable further training in the field of gastronomy
- Several years of experience in the gastronomy or event environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial and networked thinking, interest in cross-departmental topics
- High personal responsibility and enthusiasm for events and gastronomy
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
- Advantageous: network in the Bern region and/or Bernese Oberland
- Several years of leadership experience
