About the job
Are you considering making the move to Switzerland and looking for a family-oriented practice where you can accompany children and adolescents long-term and actively help shape the expansion of paediatrics?
For a modern, family-run group practice in the Lucerne area, we are seeking a specialist in paediatrics and adolescent medicine. The practice is expanding its medical services and establishing a new paediatric consultation. At the same time, due to the upcoming retirement of a paediatrician in the region, there is additional demand for care, so there is already great potential to build your own patient base.
You can expect a bright, modern practice with digital infrastructure, short decision-making paths, and a well-coordinated, multilingual team. As part of an established Swiss practice group, you will benefit from professional structures and administrative relief, allowing you to focus on the medical care of your young patients. The workplace is located in one of the most beautiful regions of Central Switzerland – surrounded by impressive mountain scenery, numerous leisure opportunities, and at the same time with excellent connections to the city of Lucerne.
Your responsibilities:
- Independent outpatient care of children and adolescents
- Conducting preventive examinations, vaccinations, as well as acute and follow-up checks
- Advising and supporting families on all matters of paediatrics and adolescent medicine
- Co-designing and further developing the new paediatric consultation
- Interdisciplinary collaboration within the practice group
Your qualifications:
- Specialist title in paediatrics and adolescent medicine or an equivalent recognition
- Enjoyment of long-term care of children, adolescents, and their families
- Independent, committed, and team-oriented working style
- Interest in actively shaping the expansion of a new service
Your benefits:
- Ideal entry position for doctors planning to move to Switzerland
- Modern and friendly practice premises
- Family-oriented, well-coordinated, and multilingual practice team
- High demand for paediatric care with excellent development potential
- Work in one of the most beautiful mountain regions of Switzerland with high quality of life and diverse leisure opportunities
- Administrative relief through an established practice organisation
- Flexible employment between 40 and 100%
- Attractive employment conditions and long-term development opportunities
- Personal support by Medimeo throughout the entire application process, including assistance with MEBEKO recognition and other administrative steps for starting your career in Switzerland
