Employee Online Communication 60% (m/f/d)
The Communications Department positions Caritas Switzerland as an organisation fighting poverty – in Switzerland and worldwide. It is responsible for media and public relations and presents the work of Caritas Switzerland attractively and understandably on online and print channels.
Your tasks
- You are responsible for content management: You take on tasks in maintaining and updating the four-language website of Caritas Switzerland. You respond to and process internal enquiries concerning the web content on caritas.ch.
- You are part of the social media and newsletter team and actively contribute to "community management".
- You assist in planning, producing and editing contributions for online tools.
- You are part of the cross-departmental digital team and actively participate there.
- You regularly prepare evaluations of relevant KPIs.
- You take on general communication tasks as needed.
Our requirements
- You have completed at least a higher technical college or additional training in communication or marketing.
- You bring at least two years of professional experience.
- You are familiar with content management systems; knowledge of Drupal and Active Campaign is an advantage.
- You have experience with online communication and social media.
- Ideally, you are familiar with graphics for digital channels and video production and enjoy writing texts.
- You work efficiently, independently and precisely. Even in hectic times, you keep an overview.
- You are a communicative personality; organisational skills and the ability to work in a team are among your strengths.
- You speak German as your main language and have good French and English skills.
- You have an interest in development and social policy topics and identify with Caritas Switzerland as well as its values and goals.
Workplace: Lucerne, 20% of the workload possible in home office
Start of work: 1 September 2026 or by arrangement.
