About the job

Leadership role in banking supervision: Take responsibility for strategy, team, and regulation in a dynamic financial environment.

• Supervision of banks and securities firms in categories 4 and 5 (> 200 financial institutions)
• Overall responsibility for the strategic, professional, and personnel management of the department (approx. 20 employees)
• Participation in the further development of the small banks regime
• Active involvement in the management team of the banking division and as a member of the FINMA executive

• University degree in law, economics, or a comparable field
• At least 8-10 years of professional experience in banks, audit firms, or law firms, as well as several years of leadership experience
• Sound understanding of financial markets as well as regulation and supervision
• Ability to work interdisciplinarily and strong analytical and communication skills
• Very good knowledge of German or French (C2) as well as good knowledge of the other language and English (at least C1)
