About the job
Portrait of the School/Institution
The municipality of Jegenstorf, with approximately 5800 inhabitants, is reachable from Bern by public transport in just under a quarter of an hour. On foot, you can then reach the two school locations Gyrisberg and Säget within 5-10 minutes.
Currently, around 680 school-age children are taught in 35 classes, and the day school and school social work complete the offerings of our school.

Tasks
On Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:15 and 11:50, pupils from various classes with an increased need for calm come to you and are cared for by you in a small group. The maximum group size is 8 pupils.
The calm island relieves the pupils, the teachers, and the class structure and has proven itself in a pilot phase.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has a lot of experience in the school context and can respond to the very different needs of the individual pupils. Calmness, pedagogical clarity, and certainly a good dose of humour are of central importance.
