R&D Process Engineer (a) SMD Zurich City

Microdul AG in Zurich City specializes in high-quality microelectronics with around 100 employees and three business areas: Modules, Semiconductors, and Thick Film. Our core competence lies in the development and production of miniaturized electronic circuits, realized in close collaboration with our customers - mainly in medical technology. We are looking for a new team member for the Process Development department by agreement.

• Qualify and improve process stability through innovative approaches and
  continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) and
  ensure smooth integration of processes into the production workflow.
• Conduct failure analyses and optimize yields and throughput times
  to improve overall production efficiency.
• Validate processes, document and train operators to
  maintain high standards in process consistency and quality.
• Monitor and support production activities, proactively identify
  and resolve production issues.
• Engage in a variety of tasks, combining analytical office work with practical production work.
• Carry out technology projects in collaboration with our customers and drive
  solutions that meet specific customer needs and industry standards.

• Degree in Process Engineering / Microelectronics(ETH/FH/MSc/BSc) or in a
  related engineering field
• 3+ years of experience in SMD (Stencil printing/design, placement, reflow soldering)
• Experience with X-Ray, AOI, SPI.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic approach, experience in
  design of experiments (DoE) and a solid foundation in statistics.
• Clear communication skills to convey evencomplex information clearly
• Hands-on, independent practical problem solving
• Fluent German (min B2) and English skills
