Our care group for people with psychiatric illnesses offers 28 residents a home that creates space for a self-determined life. In this role, you shape appreciative care, manage the daily operations, and actively participate in projects. Night and weekend shifts are part of the job – we do not have split shifts.
- Taking over process responsibility for person-centered care and support of our residents
- Responsibility as day manager for smooth daily operations
- Active participation in project and specialist groups of the KZU
- Confident assessment and action in complex, rapidly changing situations
- Interprofessional collaboration, especially with staff from therapies and our in-house medical service
- Enjoyment and care in medical-technical tasks
- Completed professional training as a nurse HF/FH or a foreign diploma recognized by the SRK
- Professional experience and enjoyment in working with people with psychiatric illnesses
- Motivation and commitment to apply a modern and innovative understanding of care
- Knowledge in Kinaesthetics, integrative validation, and basal stimulation

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two care centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three care apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers older, care-dependent people a home and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
