We are looking for a competent, motivated, and self-reliant individual for a 100% position as a lecturer in physiology to teach medical students starting January 1, 2026 (or by agreement). The position is initially limited to 3 years.
Your Tasks
Teaching will be conducted in German and will target students of human and dental medicine in the bachelor's program (corresponding to the "Physikum"). The teaching includes lectures, tutorials, and practical courses. The focus of the teaching activity will be on cardiovascular physiology. Other important topics will also include cell physiology, autonomic and somatic nervous system, kidney, and respiration. A dedicated research laboratory will not be provided, and no scientific research is expected.
Your Profile
We are looking for an individual with:
- a background in medicine or a related biomedical field with solid knowledge of human physiology
- a habilitation in physiology or an equivalent qualification
- experience in university teaching
- excellent German and English language skills
- outstanding communication and organizational skills
- a committed, solution-oriented, and self-motivated personality
- a pronounced joy in imparting knowledge and interacting with students
