Officer in charge of contributions and finance
Vocational Training Office | 50 % | Chur
The Vocational Training Office (UCFP) is a service of the Department of Education, Culture and Environmental Protection (DECA) and implements the training policy mandates of the Confederation and the canton in the field of basic vocational training. It is also a centre of expertise on issues relating to career choice, school and studies, as well as an authority that supports throughout the entire professional career.
The contributions and finance section deals with all financial matters of the Vocational Training Office. This includes, among other things, participation in the preparation of service mandates, examination of subsidies for vocational schools and transitional training and the related payment of contributions, or the payment and further invoicing of costs for qualification procedures.
For 1 January 2027 or by agreement, we are looking for an officer in charge of contributions and finance (fixed-term until 31 December 2028).

Tasks
- Independent management of creditor and debtor accounting
- Support in processing financial matters related to qualification procedures
- Checking invoices related to extra-cantonal school fees
- Collaboration in the preparation of inter-company course accounts
- General accounting tasks
What we expect from you
- Basic commercial vocational training (possibly with further training in accounting)
- Good knowledge of common MS Office programmes (especially Excel) and interest in specific applications
- Insight into understanding complex relationships and a high degree of autonomy
- Flexibility, ability to cope with large workloads, discretion and ability to work in a team as well as a precise, thoughtful, quick and reliable working method
- Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
