Specialist: Private Insurance

The Private Insurance team at Zürcher Kantonalbank is an independent insurance intermediary. It is responsible for insurance advice for private clients domiciled in Switzerland and works closely as a specialist unit with our sales team, the cantonal banks, and our insurance partners. Furthermore, we handle the entire policy life cycle including accounting and reporting.

• Responding in writing and by phone to customer enquiries as well as enquiries from our sales team, the cantonal banks and insurance partners in German and French
• Carrying out all administrative tasks related to the insurance portfolio 
• Creating and sending reports/analyses
• Conducting customer discussions up to the insurance contract conclusion 
• Preparing and comparing insurance quotes including sending to and following up with customers
• Contributing to product accounting and projects
• Supporting the creation of test cases and testing of our insurance system
• Identifying and implementing process optimisations

• Insurance intermediary VBV, insurance specialist with federal certificate or financial planner with federal certificate (one qualification required)
• Valid entry in the FINMA insurance intermediary or VBV industry register is mandatory
• Completed commercial apprenticeship at a financial institution preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in customer contact, experience in life insurance is an advantage
• High customer, service and team orientation 
• Independent, precise and organised working style with a flair for data and numbers
• Committed, goal-oriented, resilient and flexible personality
• Very good German skills and preferably good French skills
