About the job
What is my role?
You are part of a rotating team of three and keep the plant stable and safe during ongoing operations. You primarily take on operational tasks directly at the plant. Specifically, this means:
Carrying out regular inspection rounds in the relevant plant areas
Monitoring and operating the technical equipment to ensure stable operation
Operating the crane systems during daily operations
Early detection and resolution of faults as well as support with maintenance work during day shifts
In short: You ensure that a complex industrial plant runs reliably around the clock.
What do I need to be successful?
Technical or craft training
Very good German skills (at least B2) and basic computer skills
Calm, reliable working style – even in demanding situations
Willingness to work a 3-shift system in a fixed rhythm (7 days early, late and night shifts), followed by 1-2 weeks of day shifts (07:00–16:00)
What are my benefits?
Structured working hours – when the shift ends, it’s time off
Choice of shift model – more free time or higher allowance: CHF 8,509 shift allowance + 10 additional holiday days or CHF 10,211 shift allowance + 5 additional holiday days
Pension fund: 60% employer contribution
25-30 days holiday (age-dependent)
Secure job in a public organisation
Prospects through the further development of the plant
What distinguishes the company?
You don’t just want any job – but to be part of a plant that really makes a difference? That is responsibility. And that is exactly what makes the job exciting.
The employer is a special-purpose association. Over 379,000 people benefit from this work. The plant is not a standard operation – here energy production, industrial automation and modern environmental technology come together.
