About the job
As Group Controller, you are an important sparring partner for the CFO, the executive management, the Co-CEOs, and the board of directors, making a significant contribution to the financial management of our international corporate group.
Together with the finance team, you ensure transparent decision-making bases, continuously develop group-wide reporting, and create real added value for our organisation with your analyses. In doing so, you work closely with our subsidiaries and bring your expertise particularly in the analysis of revenue, margin, cost, and earnings developments at group level.
What you can achieve
- Establishment, maintenance, and further development of a meaningful group reporting and management cockpit system for the group and subsidiaries
- Ensuring regular monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting including analysis, plausibility checks, and commentary on key financial and performance indicators
- Analysis of revenue, sales, margins, costs, earnings, working capital, receivables, liquidity, and other management-relevant KPIs
- Conducting budget, forecast, and medium-term planning processes as well as coordinating planning assumptions with subsidiaries and internal interfaces
- Validation of local figures, financial statements, plans, and forecasts and their integration into a consistent group view
- Support with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, group-wide reconciliations, intercompany issues, and consolidation-related matters
- Further development of reporting standards, key figure systems, data quality, documentation, responsibilities, and uniform management logics
- Monitoring and supporting the application of internal guidelines, especially in the areas of reporting, closing, compliance, governance, data quality, and deadlines
- Participation in risk management through identification, assessment, and tracking of financial risks, earnings impacts, margin changes, cost deviations, and improvement potentials
- Business partnering for subsidiaries, local finance managers, and internal departments on financial matters
- Initiation, supervision, and controlling of corporate projects, especially related to reporting, planning, process improvement, system integration, automation, and financial management
- Participation in the optimisation and automation of controlling processes as well as in reducing manual Excel dependencies
What distinguishes you

- Very good understanding of profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash flow, cost accounting, margin logic, and business management key figures
