For the 2026 intake, the care teams are looking for their future apprentices as assistants in care and community health CFC.
Job description
Under the responsibility of nursing and medical staff, you support patients in daily care tasks including personal hygiene, feeding, mobilization, and comfort care. You develop and foster human relationships.
During your apprenticeship, you perform delegated medico-technical acts in collaboration with nursing staff, such as administering medication, injections, and applying dressings.
In collaboration with the medical and nursing team, you manage emergency situations by detecting signs, giving alerts, and ensuring the management of first aid gestures with nursing or medical staff.
Additionally, you support people in crisis situations by adopting an appropriate attitude.
Furthermore, you assist people at the end of life by identifying their needs and assessing their pain.
Managing care materials (use, cleaning, and maintenance of the patient’s environment) and logistics (patient admission, appointment scheduling, and discharge) are also part of the ASSC skill profile.
Qualifications
You will be 16 years old at the start and have successfully completed your compulsory schooling.
You show interest in health-related fields.
You are a good listener who wants to understand others' needs and wishes to contribute to care teams.
Friendly, you enjoy teamwork and communicate easily with your interlocutors.
Organization is one of your strengths, and your analytical mind allows you to identify problems and find solutions.
Your hygiene and sense of cleanliness are impeccable.
You have an interest in the hospital environment and are ready to commit to a professional training alternating work in a company, practical courses, and theoretical lessons at school.
