Dietikon is the district capital and the economic center in the rapidly growing Limmattal. The fifth largest city in the canton of Zurich, with around 28,000 inhabitants, offers an attractive environment for living, working, culture, and leisure. The Building Department is the central specialist office for all construction matters. In addition to the permitting authority and energy specialist, we are significantly responsible for real estate and construction management (client representation) as well as property management. We coordinate and implement all municipal construction projects in the cultural, administrative, school, and sports sectors. As a project manager for client representation, you will manage one or two smaller projects alongside one of our large school projects in execution, as well as advise on a part portfolio of our property management as a construction specialist. To complement the construction management team, we are looking for a reliable personality starting from October 1, 2025, or by agreement as
- Independent execution of municipal construction projects as a client representative
- Ensuring the structural maintenance and investment planning of the assigned municipal properties
- General supervision of operational property maintenance and advising the administrative departments on maintenance issues and their construction concerns
- First point of contact for the commissioned architects and specialist planners
- Training as an architect ETH/FH or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in planning and project management Knowledge in the field of business administration and real estate is an advantage
- Networked thinking, language and negotiation skills in spoken and written form Good communication skills, assertiveness, independence, resilience, flexibility, budget understanding, and a high sense of responsibility
- Experience in public administration and in the political environment is an advantage
- Team ability and loyalty complete your profile
