To complete its team, the Security, Environment and Prevention Service (UniSEP) of the University of Lausanne is looking for a security and surveillance officer.
Job Information
Start date: immediately or to be agreed
Contract duration: permanent contract
Work rate: 100%
Workplace: UNIL - Dorigny
Your Activities
In your role, you will participate in the service's activities related to the protection of people and property for the entire university community.
In this capacity, you will be required to:
- Apply and enforce legal requirements and internal directives regarding security and safety.
- Monitor spaces and buildings on the university campus.
- Ensure the safety of people and property.
- Control parking areas and perform various tasks related to parking.
- Intervene as part of the medical group.
- Occasionally monitor the site outside of regular working hours.
Your Profile
To complete our team, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
- Federal VET Diploma or equivalent professional experience.
- Holder of the professional certificate for security and surveillance officer.
- Swiss nationality or C permit.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in surveillance and security - safety.
- Linguistic skills (fluent in French and good knowledge of English).
- Very good physical condition and interest in self-defence.
- First aid training would be an asset.
- Category B driving licence mandatory.
- Clean criminal record.
- Reside within a 30-minute radius of UNIL.
