Your tasks

We offer
- Management and supervision of the entire catering and coordination of the restaurant rooms, bar and Spycher including banquets and events
- Operational management and leadership of the restaurant rooms
- Contact person for kitchen and service
- Operational coordination with the Chefs de Service, Chef de Bar and the head chef
- Employee scheduling and training of service staff
- Compliance with the specified business philosophy, team rules and employee ABC
- Compliance with employee policies regarding working hours, days off, holidays and public holidays
- Employee recruitment
- Creating daily plans with station assignments
- Training and education of apprentices and interns
- Ensuring order and cleanliness of the catering areas
- Training and control for careful handling of work materials
- Assistance in organizing and conducting banquets and seminars
- Active guest care from reception, consultation, support to personal farewell of guests
- Leadership of employees including annual appraisal interviews as well as interim status assessments and feedback discussions – demanding and promoting
- Living and integrating a sense of togetherness and cooperative collaboration among departments and within the own department
- Professional control of workflows, control and living uniform service standards and processes
- Ensuring the flow of information to the CdS and employees
- Updating the service guide, work descriptions and standards
- Careful introduction of new employees
- Active promotion of employee further training

You have
You have
Completed vocational training in the field of catering EFZ or graduation from a recognized hotel management school
Several years of professional experience in a comparable position in upscale hotel/restaurant industry
Sound knowledge in the areas of half board, à la carte, bar, banquet and event catering
Excellent product knowledge regarding wines, spirits and beverages in general
Experience in planning and implementing banquets and events
Native German speaker and very good oral language skills in French as well as in English
