Research Associate (Postdoc) Project Balance (50%) (Workload increase with teaching possible)

In the SNSF longitudinal study Balance – Development of mental health and performance in school and family, led by Prof. Dr. Markus Neuenschwander (PH FHNW) and Prof. Dr. Carmen Zurbriggen (University of Fribourg), resources and burdens as well as socio-emotional competencies in adolescence are examined. In doing so, you can acquire new skills in a current, innovative field, develop further in a supportive, dynamic team, and benefit from a broad scientific network.
- Design survey instruments, plan data collection, supervise the preparation of test and survey data, and analyze data statistically, advise doctoral candidates
- Present results at (inter)national conferences and write scientific contributions within the project
- Deepen research methodological skills
- Pursuing a habilitation project within the research project is possible
- Optionally, within an additional 10%-30%: Conduct teaching activities
- Doctorate in educational sciences, special education, (educational) psychology or related fields
- Strong interest in empirical educational research, especially on the project topic
- Good research methodological skills, especially multivariate statistical knowledge
- Knowledge of or interest in longitudinal analyses and the experience sampling method
- Good English skills
- Teamwork skills, organizational talent, independence
