Warehouse and Assistance Logistics Employee
Office for Industry, Crafts and Labor | 80 – 100 % | Chur
The Office for Industry, Crafts and Labor (UCIAML) currently employs about 135 employees in six regions of the Canton of Graubünden. In addition to managing the Regional Employment Office (URC), we organize active labor market measures for people seeking employment and manage the cantonal unemployment fund. We also carry out various tasks in the labor market and occupational safety sectors.
For the active labor market measures section, we are looking for a warehouse and assistance logistics employee (80-100%) for the Magic Table employment program in Chur starting August 1, 2026, or by agreement.
For the active labor market measures section, we are looking for a warehouse and assistance logistics employee (80-100%) for the Magic Table employment program in Chur starting August 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Tasks
- Ensure the smooth operation of foodstuff recovery
- Active collaboration in foodstuff recovery and management of the central and external warehouse of the employment program
- Responsibility for vehicle maintenance and, if necessary, employment as a driver for deliveries and pickups of foodstuffs
- Assistance and support for people seeking employment in the primary labor market
- Documentation related to participation in the program from start to finish and reporting to the referring services (URC, disability insurance, social services)
What we expect from you
- Completed training as a logistics clerk with a federal certificate of competence (AFC) or equivalent training
- Ideally with professional development in adult education or socio-professional support or willingness to obtain it
- High social skills, ability to work in a team, and empathy in dealing with different target groups
- Independent working method, ability to cope with stressful situations and remain calm even in challenging situations
- Excellent knowledge of German as well as good oral knowledge of Italian
- Good computer skills, especially in the use of MS Office
- Willingness to occasionally work on Saturdays
