The counseling service for hard of hearing and deaf people BFSUG Aargau Solothurn is looking for an engaged specialist and leader to head the counseling center at the Unterentfelden location, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Head: BFSUG Aargau Solothurn (60-100%)

The main task of BFSUG is the professional social counseling of hard of hearing and deaf people on topics from all areas of life. Additionally, we offer job coaching on behalf of the RAV and IV offices. The goal is to promote inclusion and support with social and personal challenges.

The management of BFSUG Aargau Solothurn includes professional, organizational, personnel, structural, and financial responsibility.

Your tasks:

You advise and support hearing-impaired people in career orientation, job search, internships, and integration measures.

You ensure high-quality, barrier-free services (social counseling, work integration, socio-cultural animation)

Implementation of the Landenhof strategy in line with the goals of the Simple Society BFSUG at the regional level

Professional development, quality assurance, and evaluation

Budget responsibility and ensuring service billing with cost bearers (BSV, IV, RAV, social services, etc.)

Professional and personnel management, including supervision and support of the team in complex cases

Personnel planning, recruitment, and development

Representation in professional committees, networks, and at Landenhof (e.g., introduction days, events)

Participation in the conference of BFSUG site managers and implementation of common standards

Your profile:

Completed training in social work or social services

Leadership experience in a nonprofit organization

Swiss German sign language at least at level B2 or experience with service provision according to Art. 74 IVG

Counseling competence and methodological know-how

Confident appearance, organizational skills, and participative leadership style of a diverse team
