Your Tasks
- Analysis of market and technology trends in the Smart Grid sector as well as evaluation and selection of suitable suppliers and partners
- Development and implementation of rules and standards for supply security, economic efficiency, and environmental compatibility in the electrical distribution network of the city of Winterthur
- Responsibility for the development, planning, and implementation of innovative projects in areas such as protection and control technology, decentralized feeding, flexibility management, or comfort systems; close support of technical pilot projects as a sparring partner for product management
- Support of the network calculation tool as well as conducting analyses and reporting on the networks
- Contact person for students and university partners (e.g., ZHAW) on topics such as Smart Grid, network calculation, and network protection as well as supervision of theses as a subject expert
Your Profile
- Completed studies in electrical or energy engineering (FH/ETH) as well as proven professional and project experience in energy supply or industry
- A high degree of independence, assertiveness, flair for teamwork, high safety and risk awareness, and the ability to solve problems systematically
- Fluent German in spoken and written form, good English skills (spoken and reading comprehension), and very good IT knowledge
- Driver's license category B required and willingness to be on call if suitable
