The Nursing Directorate embodies the authority in nursing matters. Its mission is to ensure the quality and safety of care within the establishment. As such, the Nursing Directorate oversees all nursing activities (nurses and various health professional groups). To fulfil its mission, it relies on three areas of expertise: professional practices, interprofessionality, and transformation in nursing.
Job Description
You will join the quality expert team of the Nursing Directorate. You assist the head of ecological transition in healthcare and participate in implementing the ecological transition strategy in healthcare. You actively contribute to projects led in this field.
You participate in projects related to the implementation of the ecological transition strategy in healthcare.
You collaborate with the CSR unit in implementing the climate-health axis of the sustainability strategy at HUG.
You actively contribute to organising and coordinating the operationalisation of the ecological transition strategy in healthcare within the medical-nursing departments.
You advise on best practices, respond to questions, and promote the ecological transition in healthcare within HUG.
Additionally, you participate in the daily organisation of the sector, for example, preparing and organising meetings, maintaining dashboards, etc.
Qualifications
You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in sustainable development or in the health field and must complete a mandatory internship with ECTS credits as part of your university curriculum.
You have an interest or experience related to sustainability or more specifically the ecological transition in healthcare (internship, associative activity, volunteer work, or other).
You possess good analytical skills, excellent writing and oral presentation abilities.
You are pragmatic, organised, and also have good interpersonal and listening skills.
You know how to work in a team and have a collaborative spirit. You are autonomous and ensure smooth information flow.
You are comfortable with common office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and content creation tools (presentations, animations, etc.).
You have a good level of written English.
