About the job

To complement our «Fugu» nursery team in Rüti, we are looking for an assistant educator 80% to start immediately or by arrangement.

«Fugu» nurseries are a private operation aiming to expand family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our new «Fugu» nursery is located directly at the station in the centre of Rüti. We have over 400 m2 of bright, modern and spacious rooms available, which we have designed to be child-friendly and comfortably furnished. The nursery is organised into 3 groups. Opening hours are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Children’s hearts fly to you! When children play, jump and laugh, you find peace. As an assistant educator, you give your full commitment across several groups and are a valuable support to the group leaders. You stand in for the group leaders during holiday absences and demonstrate your leadership skills. Further training is a matter of course for us. Exciting additional roles and career opportunities await you. We take your wishes and goals into development discussions and plan your progress together.

TASKS

• Care and support of the children in everyday life
• Constructive collaboration with the group leader and support in daily routines
• Assistance in planning and conducting excursions
• Assistance in planning and implementing regular parent events
• Professional work with parents
• Independent management of the children’s group according to our educational principles as well as independent assumption of all related tasks during the group leader’s absence

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed training as a childcare specialist EFZ, specialising in children
• Resilience and great commitment in working with children
• Reliable, independent and organised working style
• Motivation, joy and interest in working with children and the team
• Positive and professional appearance
