Head of Finance & Controlling

In the food industry, HACO AG is internationally renowned for individual and innovative food products. We develop and produce snacks, instant coffee, soups, sauces, ready meals and "Smart & Healthy" products at the highest level.

To complement our Shared Services management team, we are looking for a Head of Finance & Controlling HACO AG 100%.

As Head of Finance & Controlling, you take on a central leadership role in a matrix-organised corporate structure and report directly to the CFO of the HACO Group. In this position, you not only lead the central finance department but also actively support the controlling functions (such as production controlling) within the individual business units Culinary Dried, Coffee and Snacks in Switzerland. The controllers act as business partners in close coordination with the respective business unit managers. Additionally, you bear the overall financial responsibility for the Shared Services area, which operates across business units. Furthermore, you support the Group CFO in various matters such as treasury and the company pension fund.

Your responsibility – strategic, integrative, future-oriented

Leadership & Matrix Coordination

• Leading a central finance team.
• Managing and coordinating the business controllers (business units Culinary Dried, Coffee and Snacks) with the central production and logistics processes.
• Promoting collaboration within the matrix structure as well as establishing uniform standards and tools in controlling (e.g. cost centre pricing, activity-based costing, ...).
• Responsibility for and active shaping of the continuous digitalisation, optimisation and strategic development of financial processes.

Shared Services Switzerland & Financial Management

• Overall financial responsibility for Shared Services functions.
• Responsibility for financial and operational accounting according to Swiss GAAP FER and internal group standards.
• Managing sales, payment and delivery terms of the business units in accordance with company guidelines.
• Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

Collaboration on HACO Group Matters

• Active support of the HACO Group CFO (group treasury management, risk management and other selected projects).

Controlling & Business Partnering

• Consolidation of financial planning for all business units in the mid-term plan and budget.
• Deriving financial targets from the business unit strategies.
• Further development of controlling instruments to manage production, sales and standard costs.
• Conducting profitability analyses, break-even, contribution margin and cost structure analyses as well as investment calculations.
• Optimising profitability through active management and periodic target-actual analyses.
• Maintaining SAP-based value flows and systems.

Your profile – networked thinking, strong leadership, entrepreneurial

• Completed studies in business administration, finance & controlling.
• Several years of leadership and professional experience in financial accounting, controlling and reporting – ideally in a matrix-organised food or consumer goods industry.
• Solid experience with SAP (FI/CO) and digitalisation tools (such as Power BI).
• High communication skills with leadership at eye level towards business unit managers, operations, HR, sales, corporate development and central functions.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, assertiveness and ability for integrative collaboration.
