About the job

• Work scientifically and implementation-oriented in the field of gaseous emissions from agriculture with a focus on ammonia emissions
• Operate the emission model Agrammon , assess and advise on the implementation of emission reduction techniques; participate in projects measuring gaseous emissions from agriculture
• Conduct projects independently
• If interested, teaching assignments are possible

• University degree (Bachelor, Master or Doctorate) in agronomy or related fields
• Very good knowledge of agricultural practice or the ability to familiarise yourself with it, good knowledge of basic chemistry, physics, biology; optionally data processing and programming as well as teaching experience
• Use and further development of the existing international network of experts
• Publication of technical reports and articles in journals including peer-reviewed papers
• High motivation, independence, resilience, social and communication skills
• Native German or French speaker with good knowledge of the other language; good English skills

• Curiosity and sometimes even radical lateral thinking are required in the search for solutions.
