Application Engineer Fire Protection (m/f/d)
at 80 - 100% capacity at our location in Buochs (NW)
This is your area of responsibility:
- Obtaining approvals and expert reports in cooperation with authorities, customers
and partners for applications with fire protection glass - Organization and execution of projects within the application technology department
- Planning and construction of test specimens for component tests
- Support and documentation of tests in the area of the accredited testing center
- Creation of technical documentation
- Technical advice on the application of fire protection glass
This is what you bring with you:
- Completed technical training (e.g., metal or wood technician,
- civil engineering, architecture, materials engineering or comparable)
- Ideally professional experience in construction technology, glass construction or fire protection
- Interest and willingness to thoroughly engage with relevant standards, guidelines, and approval procedures and to apply them confidently in practice
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style
- Enjoyment of project-oriented work and collaboration with customers, authorities and internal specialist departments
- Good German and English skills, French skills are an advantage
