The Center for Children with Sensory and Physical Disabilities ZKSK is an interdisciplinary competence center for children and adolescents with physical, sensory, and multiple disabilities. At four locations, we offer individual medical and educational therapy services. With psychological and medical assessments as well as therapies, we support, advise, and accompany children and families.
We are looking for a committed, professionally competent leader as Co-Leadership ZKSK (40 to 60%) in Solothurn starting August 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
With your commitment, enthusiasm, and expertise, you will share operational management responsibility with your co-leadership partner and shape a collaborative and team culture that enables the team to accompany children on their path to a self-responsible future and to optimally support them both academically and therapeutically.
Your tasks
- Together with your co-leadership partner, you bear overall responsibility for operational management in collaboration with the department heads and the board of directors, thus developing the organization in a future-oriented and innovative way
- You manage the various areas personnel-wise and professionally with your co-leadership partner, lead the management meetings, and implement the ZKSK strategy. In doing so, you represent attitudes and values according to our guiding and development principles
- You prepare strategic decision-making bases for the board of directors and lead strategy-relevant projects
- You ensure the necessary structural and operational infrastructure
- You conduct contract and financial negotiations with relevant stakeholders
- You maintain contacts with parents and authorities and are responsible for public relations
Your qualifications
- Connection or affinity to the social / curative education or medical-therapeutic field and ideally experience from a non-profit environment
- Completed higher education degree
- Business management skills, entrepreneurial, visionary, and strategic-holistic thinking
- Experience in personnel management and ideally in personnel and organizational development
- High awareness of quality management and communication
- Willingness for public relations, lobbying, and association work
- Project management and project leadership skills
- Communication and negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and process thinking
- High social and self-competence, pragmatism, and resilience
