To strengthen the team at the Zurich Wallisellen location, we are looking for a committed and technically skilled individual as a Pre-Sales Engineer. In this role, you are a central interface between customers, sales and technical teams.
- Provide technical advice to customers and support sales in the presales cycle
- Prepare technical offers and solution concepts
- Calculate projects, services and managed services
- Define scope of services, assumptions and delimitations
- Ensure traceability and quality of offers
- Coordinate with engineering, project management and service management
- Involve manufacturers and partners as needed
- Ensure that solutions are technically feasible and deliverable
- Develop scalable and economical solution approaches
- Contribute to the further development of the service and solution portfolio
- Provide feedback on market and customer requirements to internal stakeholders
- Several years of experience in the IT environment, ideally in pre-sales, solution engineering or system engineering
- Broad technical understanding (e.g. workplace, server/storage, network, security, cloud or managed services)
- Ability to analyse customer requirements in a structured manner and translate them into solutions
- Experience in preparing technical offers, service descriptions and calculations
- Confident understanding of service catalogs, standard services and operating models
- Ability to define realistic efforts, deadlines and assumptions
- Strong communication skills with customers, technical teams and management
- Ability to critically question requirements and clearly reject unfeasible requests
- Fluent German skills; English and French are an advantage
- Work on innovative ICT solutions with leading manufacturers and technologies

Profile
