What to expect You are responsible for the professional leadership in the area of personal injury liability across all regions, ensuring the framework conditions for successful learning and knowledge management, internal training as well as the "unité de doctrine" in collaboration with the head of the claims processing department. You lead the Centre of Competence Personal Injury Liability, a team of 10 lawyers, and together with your team ensure the high-quality and professional handling of complex and major claims as well as claims in specialised sectors and court cases. As part of the personal injury liability leadership team, you actively contribute to the further development of the area. Together with your team, you make significant contributions to achieving goals in the core areas of customer satisfaction, claims expenditure, and process efficiency. You work in various cross-departmental expert committees, working groups, and projects and represent the interests of the personal injury liability area or sector. With your team, you coordinate the further development and maintenance of internal training offerings in the personal injury liability area, contribute to the development of training and professional education offerings, and bear significant responsibility for contemporary training of the relevant employees. What you bring You hold a university degree in law with several years of professional experience, preferably with a lawyer's licence. You bring many years of insurance and claims experience as well as experience in leading specialists. You have sound knowledge in the areas of liability and insurance law and have basic knowledge of social insurance law. In contact with internal and external customers, you demonstrate your strong service and customer orientation. You are solution-oriented, have a confident demeanour, great assertiveness, and negotiation skills. An entrepreneurial, efficient, and independent working style characterised by networked, holistic thinking and acting distinguishes you. You have excellent oral and written communication skills in German, preferably also good knowledge of French. Good language skills in English and Italian are an advantage.
