About the job
You want to work as a general practitioner without your profession dominating your private life? With a workload of 50-100%, regular working hours, and an already well-established patient base, this position offers reliable conditions for doctors who want to combine their medical work with time for family, leisure, and relaxation.
Your future employer is part of an established network of outpatient medical practices focusing on primary healthcare in Eastern Switzerland.
At the relevant location, a well-coordinated medical team is already active. So far, the professional focus there has been on paediatrics and adolescent medicine. In addition, general practice care for adult patients is now being developed.
For your work, existing practice structures and modern medical infrastructure are available. These include, among others, laboratory, ultrasound, X-ray, and an integrated practice pharmacy.
Organisationally, care is also taken to make the medical daily routine as efficient as possible. The practice group continuously invests in digitalised processes and new technical solutions, including AI-supported functions designed to simplify administrative procedures.
Within the practice network, professional exchange, knowledge transfer, and mutual support are explicitly part of the collaboration. This allows you to combine the independence of your own consultation hours with the backing of a larger medical environment.
Your responsibilities:
- You independently care for your patients across the entire spectrum of outpatient General Internal Medicine
- You take over an already existing patient base from another practice and continue the general practice care continuously
- You treat acute and chronic illnesses and accompany your patients long-term
- You help shape the newly emerging general medical area together with the existing team so that reliable and long-term patient care is possible
Your skills:
- You hold a specialist title in General Internal Medicine, General Practitioner, or General Medicine
- You appreciate an independent and holistic general practice activity
- Long-term and personal care of your patients is important to you
- You enjoy working in a collegial environment and value exchange with other medical professional groups
- You desire a working model that can be reconciled with your personal life planning in the long term
- For secure communication with patients and the team, you have German language skills at level C1
- If you are moving from Germany or another foreign healthcare system to Switzerland, you will be advised and financially supported with the MEBEKO recognition and the necessary permit procedures
Your benefits:
- 50-100% workload: Your employment level can be individually agreed upon, offering flexibility for different life phases
- Regular working hours: The practice organisation is geared towards a structured and predictable outpatient workday
- Flexible working models: Different models can be agreed upon according to the respective life situation
- Existing patient base: You do not have to fill your consultation hours from scratch with new patients but can take over a well-established patient base
- Administrative relief through digitalisation: Digital processes and AI-supported functions aim to make administrative procedures more efficient and simpler
- Modern medical infrastructure: Laboratory, ultrasound, X-ray, and practice pharmacy are already available at the location
- 25 days of holiday per year: Additionally, unpaid leave can be taken by arrangement
