Your new role

As an IT specialist EFZ specialising in platform development, you will work in a dynamic and constantly evolving professional field. You will be involved in the construction, operation and further development of IT infrastructures and platforms.

In the first year of apprenticeship, the focus is on hardware and application support. You will assist users with IT problems, advise them by phone at the service desk or help directly on site.

From the second year of apprenticeship, you will deepen your knowledge in system administration. You will take responsibility for the support and operation of applications, packaging and central distribution of software, as well as the management of PCs and mobile devices. In addition, you will be involved in the installation and management of servers and handle security incidents in the area of virus protection and endpoint security. You will also gain further insight into modern cloud platforms and their administration. The training concludes with the individual practical work (IPA), where you independently apply your acquired knowledge in a project.

Fair remuneration:

1st year of apprenticeship: CHF 770.–

2nd year of apprenticeship: CHF 980.–

3rd year of apprenticeship: CHF 1,380.–

4th year of apprenticeship: CHF 1,540.–

Monthly performance bonus for good results at vocational school and in the training company
