We are looking for a Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer to join us and help turn complex business needs into clear, valuable digital solutions that make a real difference in how we manufacture and deliver our products. You will become part of our Digital Manufacturing environment, where we design and run group-wide digital solutions that support production sites around the globe and enable sustainable, efficient processes.

In this role, you act as the bridge between our manufacturing stakeholders and our IT delivery teams. You work closely with colleagues from production, process engineering, and software development. The role gives you visibility across sites and disciplines, with a strong impact on how we standardize and improve digital manufacturing processes worldwide.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- Work closely with manufacturing and business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges, and goals, and translate them into clear requirements for digital solutions
- Lead requirement activities such as workshops, interviews, and alignment sessions to build a shared understanding across teams
- Create and maintain structured requirements, including user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria, and keep them up to date throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with software development teams during implementation, clarifying requirements, supporting solution decisions, and handling changes transparently
- Support testing and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements and deliver real value in daily operations
- Actively contribute to improving how requirements engineering is done, helping to build consistent, high-quality practices across initiatives
What do we expect from you?
You bring:
- 4 years (or more) of experience in business analysis or requirements engineering, with ownership of requirements from elicitation to validation within a digital or software-driven environment
- A good understanding of agile development approaches and how requirements evolve from concept to delivery; ideally, familiarity with modeling languages such as UML or BPM
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- The ability to communicate clearly and confidently in German and English with both business stakeholders and technical teams. Structured and analytical way of working, with attention to detail and the ability to keep an overview in complex situations
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the motivation to drive topics end-to-end and a collaborative attitude, curiosity, and a desire to continuously improve and create real value
