Department: Rectorate
Start date: From 1 July 2026 or by arrangement (Application deadline: 29 May 2026)
- You are responsible, in collaboration with the department head, for the planning, implementation and follow-up of the Education Commission of the ZHAW
- You are responsible, together with your team colleague, for assessing the equivalence of foreign school leaving certificates for admission to bachelor programmes at the ZHAW (equivalence assessment)
- You proactively support the department head and the management team in the demanding day-to-day business (e.g. with media and research enquiries, events, or coordination of activities, tasks and objectives)
- You manage the internet and intranet presence of the Education Department
- You have a commercial vocational training or a university degree at bachelor level
- You have excellent German skills and French and English skills at level B2 and C1 respectively
- You are proficient in the use of MS Office (especially SharePoint and Copilot for efficient completion of work tasks)
- You have initial professional experience in the Swiss education system, are interested in educational issues, and can classify the structures, actors, regulations and contexts
- You are interested in process optimisation and its digitalisation
- You work independently, well-structured and precisely, and do not lose overview in everyday work, prioritising tasks and pending matters wisely
- You look ahead in good time, act networked, proactively, responsibly and solution-oriented, keep appointments, deadlines and pending matters under control, and are a reliable contact for the department
- You communicate thoughtfully and appropriately for the target audience on different channels with various groups inside and outside the ZHAW
