Apprenticeship Position for Social Diaconia / Community Animation

The church community reaches a large number of people throughout the city with its offerings. It represents the needs of a modern and diverse society with its innovative forms of church life. The Church District Nine belongs to the Church Community Zurich and includes the districts of Albisrieden and Altstetten.

Your Tasks

Within the framework of the training concept, these tasks are compiled. You have a focus area throughout the entire training period and annually changing areas (children, youth, seniors, adult education, etc.). In all areas, you plan and organise offerings and carry them out in a team or independently. 

Your Profile

• You have a recognised training place at TDS Aarau or another social training institution
• You bring a winning charisma and joy in contact with a wide variety of people
• You know your competencies and are open to learning new things
• You are a team player and socially competent
• You already have practical experience in a church environment
• You have good Microsoft Office user skills 
• You are a member of a regional church
