About the job
Specialists for Modules of VerfahrenZH and Application Managers 80 - 100%With the entry into force of the revised Administrative Procedure Act in January 2027, an important milestone in the digitalization of administrative procedures in the canton of Zurich will be set. In this context, the Digital Administration division of the State Chancellery takes over the central professional and technical operation for around 800 administrative procedures from all directorates and is building the central solution "VerfahrenZH" for this purpose. In the coming years, further procedures are to be digitalized and the technical infrastructure further developed according to the needs of internal and external customers – in close cooperation with the Office for Informatics and other partners within the cantonal administration.
For the development and operation of this central solution "VerfahrenZH", we are creating a new specialist team. For this, we are looking for committed individuals who, with a strong service orientation, holistic thinking, and joy in collaboration, will help shape this challenge.
Your tasks as a specialist for modules of VerfahrenZH:
· Professional responsibility for the front and backend
· Advising and supporting administrative units in further digitalizing their procedures
· Professional development of the product along the requirements of both internal and
external customers
· Responsibility for service quality
· Participation in the standardization and scaling of the digital solution
What you bring with you:
· Tertiary education (e.g., in business informatics, information science, business administration or
comparable)
· Experience in the digitalization of processes or services
· Strong understanding of user needs and service design
· Ability to translate professional requirements into clear, actionable specifications
· Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
· Analytical, structured, and conceptual working style
· Enjoyment in designing and further developing digital solutions
Your tasks as an application manager:
· Ensuring the stable operation of VerfahrenZH
· Coordination of maintenance and further development
· Management and collaboration with our external suppliers
· Analysis and resolution of disruptions
· Support of our external customers
· Further development of the technical base modules in coordination with the specialists
What you bring with you:
· Tertiary education in computer science or business informatics
· Several years of experience in operating IT solutions
· Structured, solution-oriented working style and high service orientation
· Ability to communicate technical matters clearly
