Do you want to take on responsibility and play a key role in one of the most important trading and sales areas of the Swiss banking center? Zürcher Kantonalbank is looking for an experienced personality like you to take over the management of our Fixed Income division and strategically further develop it.
With one of the largest trading and sales units in the fixed income segment, one of Switzerland's leading interest rate derivatives desks, and a strong international presence in Eurobond trading and sales, we are a central player in the CHF capital market. We offer tailored financial structures for our corporate and banking clients and are a leading liquidity provider in the secondary market for CHF bonds. In this role, you lead a highly qualified team, drive innovations, and further develop the strategic direction of the division to strengthen our leading market position.

Your tasks
- Strategic and operational responsibility for the entire fixed income value chain: Trading, Sales, DCM syndicate
- Strategic and operational development of the business area by identifying key market developments (opportunities) and customer needs
- Budget, profit and loss, and risk responsibility for the entire division
- Personnel management and development of seven teams with a total of more than 30 employees
- Operational responsibility for trading, sales, and DCM syndicate
- Exchange with a variety of relevant stakeholders within (especially Risk and Legal & Compliance) and outside the bank
- Representation of Zürcher Kantonalbank at internal and external events (domestic and abroad)
Your profile
- Several years of experience in fixed income trading (principal risk management) as well as in sales management
- Several years of leadership experience both directly and indirectly, as well as leadership beyond own division
- Relevant experience in a role with strategic responsibility for a business area
- Ability to coach employees and communicate across various divisional boundaries
- Skilled handling of stakeholders to create mutual win-win situations
- Very quick comprehension with the ability to link topics and recognize market opportunities
- Drive and energy to develop the division and team entrepreneurially
- Strong innovation capability with high commitment and resilience
- Assertiveness combined with a pragmatic working method and passion for market, trading, and customers
- University degree (university or university of applied sciences) or equivalent education with corresponding further training (MBA, MAS, CFA, AZEK, etc.)
- Very good German and English skills
