Specialist in Hydraulic and Testing Technology (Multitalent)
The department Mechanical Systems Engineering addresses questions in engineering, specifically regarding metallic materials, plastics, and composite materials (composites and sandwich materials).
Your Tasks
As part of our team, you will take on project leadership and support development projects and customer orders. In doing so, you will create testing concepts, plan testing setups, and implement them independently. You will plan, program, and conduct experiments on servo-hydraulic systems and take on data evaluation as well as the creation of short reports for project management. Furthermore, you will independently manufacture prototypes and adapt testing devices and adapters - also in collaboration with our central workshop.
In addition to these core tasks, you will support our project partners and take on technical tasks for project managers, clerks, and students. You will also be responsible for the servo-hydraulic machine park, its maintenance, and work safety. The maintenance of the testing infrastructure and documentation according to our quality management system are also part of your responsibilities.
Your Profile
For this position, we expect a completed technical vocational training, for example as a mechanic, physics laboratory technician, or testing technician. You have solid knowledge in hydraulics, measurement, and testing technology and have experience with CAD; knowledge in CNC processing and programming skills (e.g., in LabView) are an advantage.
Personally, you impress with teamwork skills, initiative, very good German, and solid English skills.
