The FINANCIAL REPORTING ACCOUNTANT will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports for the RETAIL industry. This position is based in Geneva and requires a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Description

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the accounting& finance department to streamline reporting processes.
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance.
• Contribute to process improvements within the financial reporting function.

Profile

A successful FINANCIAL REPORTING ACCOUNTANT should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
